Ricky Alan Raiford

December 1, 1956 ~ March 30, 2022

Ricky Raiford, 65, passed away after a valiant fight with Cancer on March 30, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born and raised in Baton Rouge but was a resident of Houston, Texas at the time of his death. Ricky graduated from Istrouma High School, Class of 1975, and worked for the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court for 19 years. He was a strong believer in the Lord and loved his family and country. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Esther and Robert Rea Raiford Sr, his mother and father, Josephine Eddy Hanks and Robert Rea Raiford Jr. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janice; his stepmother Elaine; and his two brothers, Paul (Melonie) and Scott (Lisa). He is also survived by his children, Stacey Johnston (Todd), Trey Davis (Kelly), and Meagan Thompson (Ben); his grandchildren, Jordan Johnston (Reanne), Hunter Johnston, Sydney Johnston, Peyton Thompson, Ivy Davis, Brennan Thompson, Emma Davis; and his beloved pup Harley. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Services to follow.
