January 29, 1972 ~ April 14, 2022
Michelle Scivicque, born in Baton Rouge, LA January 29, 1972, a resident of Livingston Parish, received her angel wings on April 14, 2022. She was 50 years old. Michelle attended elementary and early high school years in Denham Springs, then graduated from Foothill High School in Pleasanton, California.
Michelle traveled all around the U.S. and lived in both the San Francisco Bay area and Albuquerque, NM. In 2001, Michelle missed her Louisiana roots and returned home to the Baton Rouge area. She was an active member in the community and belonged to many civic organizations. One of her favorites was serving as a board member of Forum 35. Her life passions were family, friends, beloved animals, fellowship, faith, music, dancing and anything on the water. She was an aspiring writer with published works. She never met a stranger and was loved by many. Some of her hobbies included cooking, floral arrangements, hosting/planning family and friend gatherings, playing pool, singing, tending to her horses, and rescuing many dogs and cats.
Michelle is survived by: her parents, Vicky and Mike Bass, Bob and Cindy Scivicque; Step-brother Jeremy McDaniel; wife Kimberly, niece Madeline, nephew William; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and long-time boyfriend, Joey Berthelot. She especially loved being known as “Nona” and “Zia” to the many precious children in her life. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Stella and Percy Hill, paternal grandparents, Annie & Bob Scivicque, Sr., her Beloved border collie “Sassy”, paternal step grandparents, Clem and Sam Bass, and paternal step grandfather Richard “Dick” Freshwater
Michelle had a deep faith and trust in the Heavenly Father. One of her favorite scriptures was John 14:1-3;
Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
In lieu of flowers, Michelle would love donations to your local animal shelter.
Visitation is scheduled at Seale Funeral Home (1720 S Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA 70726) Thursday, April 21, 2022 beginning at 5:00 PM. Memorial service beginning at 6:30 PM.

Michelle was a classmate and friend of mine from California. I’d like her family and friends to know how great it was to have her in our group of friends growing-up. There is nothing but good thoughts and memories of that time together. She is part of the puzzle that made us what we are today. You are in my prayers. May God’s peace be with you at this time.

Michelle is forever 9-13 years old in my memory. Mike and Vicky have just had a swimming pool installed for family fun. Using Mikes words, “installed means, they turn on the hose and fill it up too..”. Vicky is busy buying fresh fruit and healthy snacks for Michelle’s parties and having over.

Michelle was an extremely dear friend in a season of my life and she impacted me deeply in so many ways. She was fiercely loving and protective and took me under her wing in many ways. I am still grief stricken after hearing of her passing and am deeply saddened that I am not able to attend her services. I’m comforted knowing that she is with her King but miss her presence here on earth terribly.
My deepest sympathies to her family and close friends. She was one of a kind.

Vicky and Mike, I know you’ll carry Michelle forever in your hearts. She was always so beautiful, inside and out. I’m grateful to have visited with her recently at your place. It was heartwarming to see how devoted she was to y’all, just as y’all were to her.
