Wilma Jean Rachal Harrell

October 29, 1930 ~ May 10, 2022

Wilma Jean Rachal Harrell, 91, of Port Vincent, LA, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Carpenter House, Baton Rouge. Jean was a graduate of Goldonna High School. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers. Also, she loved to camp. Relatives and friends are invited to her home after the funeral for a fellowship meal.  She is survived by her sister, Loree Rachel Clemons; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Harrell; parents, Allie Reed Rachal and Wilmer Joseph Rachal; brother, Henry Rachal; sisters, Luella Rachal Vercher and Molly Rachal Stewart; nephews, J. Shane Clemons, Ronnie Stewart, Bill Stewart, and Joe Rachal. Visitation will be held at Colyell Baptist Church, Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Paul Taylor. Burial will follow in Colyell Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Clemons, Dan Rachal, Rodney Vercher, Cargle Hall, Edward Gore, Chase Lavigne, and Steven Farrah. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Doyle, Perry Schexnader, Bobby Page, Morris Lavigne. During a time like this, we realize how much our family and friends mean to us. Your kind expressions of sympathy will always be remembered. We are very grateful for your support.
