Gary Wayne Leach

December 3, 1947 – May 17, 2022

Gary passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at The Carpenter House- St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge at the age of 74. He was a retired carpenter. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM until religious services at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Colin McClendon. Burial will follow in Chamber’s Cemetery, Denham Springs. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and John Minton, Tina and Johnny Gates and Deborah Welch; son, Jonathan Leach; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tamara Blocker, Rhonda and Dale Inman and Karen and Ricky Evans; grandchildren John Bailey and Alex Minton, Dale, Jared and Chris Crozier, Courtney Foster, Derrick and Nicholas Welch, Devin and Ashlynn Leach; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years Judy McDonald Leach; his parents J.C. Leach and Bertha Rae Ellzey Leach; brother Gerald Leach; and sister Shirley Leach; brother-in-law, Charlie Blocker. In his free time Gary loved playing his guitar and singing gospel songs.
