Beth passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the 66. She was a resident of Denham Springs. She worked at On The Run on Hwy. 16 in Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with religious services at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Paul Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Britni Matherne; sisters, Georgia Truax and Bobbie George; brother, Joseph George, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Watson George, Sr. and Margaret Minnie Ferguson George and a brother-in-law, Russell Truax. Please sign our online registry book.

We were saddened to hear that Beth passed away. My two daughters & I were stranded with Beth & a few others during the 2016 flood. She was such a kind, soft-spoken little lady, & I’m glad we met, even if it was under extraordinary circumstances. May the Lord welcome her into His kingdom, & be with all of her family & friends, especially Brittni. Rest in peace, sweet Beth.
