Barry passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Denham Springs at the age of 89. He was a retired industrial draftsman and a U.S Navy veteran of the Korean War. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Baton Rouge from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM conducted by Father Mike Maroney. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. He is survived by his sons, Robert M. Heil (Kathi) and John K. Heil; son-in-law, Alan Cutrer; sister, Betty Braud (Butch); brothers, Ray Heil (Beverly) and Leroy Heil (Ella); grandchildren, Sandi (John), Cody, Allyson (Ed), Eric (Ali), Chad and Jonathon; great grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Mason, Elijah, MIa, Nathaniel Cox and Caden Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Mark and Orelda King Heil; daughter, Monica Sue Cutrer; brothers, Teddy, Tommy and Leo Heil. Pallbearers will be John Stewart, Eric Cutrer, Chad Cutrer, Ed Cox, Cody Heil and Jonathon Simpson. He was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. Barry was an avid golfer.
