Margaret O’Donnell Obney

November 19, 1947 ~ June 17, 2022

Margaret “Midge” O’Donnell Obney 74 years of age, passed away in her sleep on Friday, June 17; 2022.  She spent the last year of her life at The Woodleigh in Baton Rouge, La suffering from Dementia.
Born November 19, 1947 in Denham Springs, La to John Kelly O’Donnell and Theda (Duncan) she attended West Anchorage High School in Alaska after her family moved there when she was 12.  She met and married Jack “Lucky” Obney.
She is survived by her four children, Sherri Obney Hasselbeck (Tony), Jackie Obney McClure, Brenda Obney Lapeyrolerie (John), Jason Obney .  Grandchildren Justin Obney (Chelsea), Travis Hasselbeck (Katie), Cooper McClure, Blayne Vidrine (Jordan) Cole Vidrine.  Devin Sarrazin, Shelbie Summers, and Jake Obney as well as several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Theda O’Donnell, sister Pat O’Donnell, brother Kelly O’Donnell.  Granddaughter Maegan Follis and husband Lucky Obney.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 beginning at 12:00pm. Pastor Tommy Higginbotham will conduct funeral services at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
