April 3, 1980 ~ June 30, 2022

We are devastated to share that we lost our son and brother on Thursday, 6/30/2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Ryan was a humble and accomplished resident of Baton Rouge who passed away on June 30, at the age of 42. Ryan graduated with a degree in Construction Management from LSU which led him on a path of new discoveries. With his degree, he had established a residence in Guam, spent many months in Hawaii and other interesting places. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do- he got his pilot’s license at the age of 20. He had an intense love for motorsports, skiing, scuba diving, boating and other outdoor activities, but he never quite got the knack of cooking- but how he loved to eat! His real passion and goal in life was to be an entrepreneur, his dreams and goals were bigger than life.
Although Ryan was an introvert and somewhat shy, he knew how to charm those around him and make them feel like they were the only one in the room. He had a great laugh and a smile that made everyone feel welcome and safe around him. His passing has left many hearts hurting: his father and stepmother, Calvin L. and Charmain Blount Sr., mother Jane Bauer Blount, brother, Calvin Blount Jr. and wife Debbie, two sisters, Robin Blount Leonard and husband, Todd and Kathryn Blount Patterson, aunts and uncles, Johnny & Jackie Blount Sr., Carolyn McIntire, Laurie Bauer Sibley , Gwen Bauer, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and his girlfriend, Brooke Stikeleather. His wit and charisma will be missed every day. His love of adventure and outdoors and passion for everything he did in life will be lived on in those he has left behind.
Services: 7/3/2022 Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, with the viewing starting at 1:00pm and services at 3:00pm by Pastor Todd Leonard. Please sign the online guestbook at www.sealefuneral.com

We were neighbors in Curacao. He was a very disciplined, knowledgeable and fun individual. I had the honor of meeting his father and brother, and he met my mother when she visited. We had many good times and memories together. My heart breaks for his family. He was like an older brother to me, we spent a lot of time together. Rest in peace brother.
