David John Love

January 20, 1975 ~ June 30, 2022

David John Love, born January 20, 1975, passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 47, surrounded by the family he loved.  He was a beloved son, father, and brother.  David had a heart of gold and never met a stranger.  He was a top-notch QC manager and pipe fitter.  His passions were fishing and football.  He graduated from Parkview High in 1993 and received a football scholarship to ULL.  He is survived by his mother Linda Saragusa Duke, stepfather Don Duke, daughters AnneMarie Blount, Kaley and Kara Love, grandchildren Hayden and Teddilynn Blount, brother and wife Cody and Shanna Duke, niece Alisa Duke, half brother CJ Love, and step grandmother Sue Saragusa.  He is preceded in death by his father Charlie Love, grandparents Tony and Margie Saragusa, William and Faye Love, Donald and Audrey Duke, aunt Gwen Marionneaux, and cousin Tammy Baker.
