O.B. Quinn

Oscar B. Quinn, better known as O.B. Quinn passed away on July 8, 2022 at his residence in Denham Springs, LA. O.B. was born in Sturgis, MS on July 17, 1938 to Neely and Vena Quinn. He was a lifelong resident of Denham Springs and a graduate of Walker High School. O.B. was preceded in death by his loving wife Winnie Cain Quinn, daughter Karen Quinn Desselle; father and mother Neely and Vena Quinn; brother James Quinn and sisters Nellie Quinn Wade, Connie Quinn Galloway and Jo Ann Quinn Thornton. O.B. enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He served our country as a morse code operator in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. O.B. was a long-standing member of the Millwright Local 720. O.B. is survived by his sister Linda Quinn Kelley and husband Sam; his son Tony Quinn and wife Annette; grandchildren Heather Desselle Lane and husband Jake; Kacey Quinn Ellenberger and husband Christopher; Austin Quinn; Kolton Quinn and wife Peyton; and four great grandchildren Anna Ellenberger, Kylie Lane, Beaux Quinn, and Kamille Lane. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, on Monday July 11, 2022 from 9am until Celebration of Life Service at 11am. Burial will follow in Judson Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Quinn, Kolton Quinn, Christopher Ellenberger, Jake Lane, Brent Cain and Brent Carlisle. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bennett and Ed Sasser.
