Wayne Dixon Lewis

Wayne Dixon Lewis born in Doyle, Louisiana and a resident of Central, Louisiana passed away July 10, 2022 at the age of 77. He enjoyed riding his Harley and cherished every moment he spent with his family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Martha Lewis, Children; Brannon (Megan), Matthew, Blane, Blair(Grant) Shreiner, Grandchildren; Ashlynn Lewis, Alexandra Lewis, Morghan Lewis, Matthew Lewis Jr., Trinity Lewis, Ashton Nielsen, Blythe Nielsen, Brother; Kenneth Lewis, as well as Mary S. and Charles Theriot. He is preceded in death by his parents Finnon Lewis and Ruth Duffy Lewis, Sister; Faye Lewis, Brother; Dennis Lewis and Mother-in-law Emma Swan.  The family would like to thank the Physicians and staff at Ochsner Baton Rouge for their care. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Services will take place Thursday July 14, 2022 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM with an 11:00 AM Funeral service conducted by Bishop Jimmy Henry. Burial will take place in Louisiana National Cemetery with a 1:00 PM Graveside service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lewis Jr., Ashton Nielsen, Alan Stringer, Willie Bryant, Ken Lewis, and Lance Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Balone, Jimmy Dyker, Donald Russell, Ward LeBlanc, Alan Kinnebrew, Charles Theriot, Grant Shreiner, Barry Yoes, Marlo Jensen and Thomas Redd.
