Wendell Allan “Dusty” Rhodus

July 23, 1940 – July 23, 2022

Wendell moved to his Heavenly home on his 82nd birthday. He left this world assured of his destination, as he was a born again Christian and all was well with his soul. Wendell was a 1958 graduate of Southeastern High, he loved his classmates so much that he hitchhiked from Denham Springs to Hammond every day of his senior year. Wendell served his country in the US Air Force. He wanted to see the world, but Uncle Sam wanted a weatherman. He served at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul USA and Perrin Base in Sherman, Texas.
