It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved Ruby Jones Netterville Pitre.  Ruby passed away at the age of 63 on August 2, 2022 after courageous battle with cancer.

 

Ruby was born January 28, 1959 in California then move to her home in Louisiana.

 

Ruby was a giver to anyone who needed her often opening her heart and home to many in need.

She was a member of First Pentecostal Church under Pastor Dan Davis.

 

Ruby enjoyed  fishing, Crabbing, yardwork, thrifting and antiquing, and spending time with her grandkids.

 

She is survived by her loving husband Kirk Pitre Sr. ; Son Joseph Allen Netterville (wife) Mallory; daughter Lee Ann Netterville; daughter Kayla Pitre; Son Patrick Pitre Jr.; Son Kell Pitre; daughter Dawn Pitre; Mother Betty Jones; Stepfather Billy Brown; sister Lee Weatherford; brother-in-law C.A. Weatherford; brother Johnny Jones; Sister Mary Jones; four grandsons; Caleb Netterville; Joseph Netterville III; Aiden Dale Smith; Jayce Smith; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends

 

She is preceded in death by her father Henry W Jones; her late husband Joseph Allen Netterville Sr.; Her maternal grandmother Beatrice Coates; Her beloved daughter Ashley Marjorie Netterville; sister-in-law Brenda Jones

 

Services will be at first Pentecostal church 2828 Jones Creek Baton Rouge, La 70816

Visitation will be Saturday August 6, 2022 from 12pm-2pm with services beginning  at 2pm
