Jorge Mario Ruiz
Landscape architect and loving father, Jorge Mario Ruiz’s zest for life will be remembered with love long after his passing on August 2, 2022. He passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest.
Jorge shared life’s simple yet profound treasures taught by his parents Braulio and Maria Ruiz- such as love for family, humor in everyday occurrences, care for nature, and an open door with a pot on the stove for his neighbor. Jorge knew no stranger and was the life of any party.  He took every opportunity to get a laugh out of anyone and especially lived for the smiles of his children, grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was a phenomenal landscape architect, renowned in the Baton Rouge area for his skills, creativity, and dependability. He was an incredibly hard worker, a business owner, brilliant chef, and friend.
Jorge is a beloved father to Jamey Paul Ruiz, daughter in law Shanna Ruiz, Gloria Hope Ruiz, Jarrelyn Ruiz Lewis, son in law Tyler Lewis, and Jarred Feliciano Ruiz. He is Grandfather to Macey & Ryan Bess, Cameron Ruiz, Calley Ruiz and Great Grandfather to Mila Bess, Eli Bess, and Layla Bess. He is also survived by the mother of his triplets Jarrelyn Ruiz, his sister Maria Sullivan, brother in law Mark Sullivan, nephews & nieces Titus Marshall, Stephen Sullivan, Leah Sullivan and best friend Mike Crafassi.
He is proceeded in his homecoming by his parents, his sister Gloria Esperanza Ruiz and his brother Manuel Ruiz.
To honor his life, there will be a Visitation from 10:30am – 12:00pm and a Mass at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
