Madonna Haggard Toups

August 4, 1965 ~ August 9, 2022

Proverbs 31:10-12 KJV
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.”
Madonna was a sweet soul who loved much, forgave quickly, had the voice of an Angel, and when she sang, it felt as if God Himself came down to listen. She was a hugger and her life shined the love and light of Jesus Christ every place she went, and to every life she touched.
Madonna was born on Aug. 4, 1965, in Baton Rouge, LA to James Donald Haggard and Gracie Scott. Madonna went to be with our Lord whom she loved so much, on Aug. 9, 2022.  She was a resident of Walker, LA and alongside her husband, Paul, pastored The Chapel of God in Walker, LA.  Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on beginning at 10:00 AM. Funeral Services conducted by Pastor Marvin Poole will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow, location to be announced. She was preceded in death by her parents James “Donald” Haggard and Gracie Scott Haggard, and baby brother Baby Haggard. Her survivors include her husband, Paul Toups, siblings Rhonda Andrews (Mark) and Arlin “Joey” Haggard; step-children Kristin Vega (John), Cody Toups (Jessie), Kayla Hebert (Josh), Kyle Toups (Amanda); nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children Tyler, Lindsay, Erin, MacKenzie and Mason; nine grandchildren and five great nieces and nephews. A special thank you to our Church Families at the The Chapel of God, Walker, LA, and Community Chapel, Walker, LA for all your prayers, love, and support over the years of her sickness.
