Shirley Ann Perry

December 25, 1950 – August 10, 2022

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Perry, our loving and devoted Grandmother, Mother, Aunt, Sister, The Neighborhood GeeMaw and friend to all whose lives she touched, on August 10th, 2022. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home in Livingston, Louisiana. She was in her 71st year. Born in 1950 in Woodville, Mississippi. Ann traveled across the country as a construction worker. She found work as an administrative assistant. She was a true matriarch for her family and helped us all provide and succeed in some way. She loved to cook, travel, work and do anything for her grandchildren. Most of all she loved her family and friends and succeeded in letting them know it. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. She lived a full life and is now in God’s presence.
Ann was the beloved mother of Heather Boudreaux and proud grandmother of Trenton Boudreaux and Autumn Seal. Dog-mom to Rebel. She was also the sister of J.B. Perry and wife Goldie, Dell and husband Dale Ratliff. She also had several nieces and a nephew. Wade Perry, Lisa Perry and Donnie, Jackie Bridgers and Sam, and Ashley Perry Brown and Husband Nicholas. Ann had many neighborhood kids who lovingly called her GeeMaw. Two little boys who meant so much to her, and really brightened her last days are Cameron and Colton Broussard. They love her dearly and will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her long time partner William Grady “Dub” Penton, step daughter Melissa Penton Perry, brother Edward Walter “peewee” Perry and wife Joel. A celebration of Ann’s life will be held as a graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park in the Rose garden, on Sunday, August 14th, 2022, beginning at 3 P.M. 1710 S Range Ave Denham Springs, LA 70726.
