Linnie Mae Harrell McLin passed away early Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the age of 85. Visitation will be held at Colyell Baptist Church on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Tuesday will resume at 9:00am. Bro. Jeremy Glascock will conduct funeral services at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Lod Stafford Cemetery. She is survived by her three children, Huey McLin, Jr. and wife Pat, Ronnie McLin, Kenny McLin and wife Leslie; five grandchildren, Steve McLin and wife Susan, Mandy McLin Stewart and husband Cody, Dustin McLin and wife Maia, Preston Layne McLin, and Bailey McLin; four great-grandchildren Braden McLin, Peyton Stewart, Alyssa McLin, Jace Stewart and baby McLin is on the way; two brothers, Dewey Harrell and wife Lavetra and Glenn Harrell and wife JoAnn; sister Vickie McDonald, and her sister-in-law Nellie Sullivan. Linnie Mae also opened her home to Tim Hill and wife Julie, Sylvia Trissler, and Vicky Stringer. She has a host of niece and nephews that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Huey “Preston” McLin, Sr, parents, Lynn and Eula Palmer Harrell, brother Jimmy Harrell and his wife Pat. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Steve McLin, Dustin McLin, Layne McLin, Braden McLin, Peyton Stewart, and Jace Stewart. Cody Stewart will serve as honorary pallbearer. She was a member of Colyell Baptist Church; she loved music and horses, but especially loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren play sports. Linnie Mae was a loving and caring soul who put others above herself and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior and reunited with her loving and handsome husband. I’m so sorry for this great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you today and in the days to come. Aunt Linnie Mae was the sweetest.
