Janet Marlyn Burton Boswell“Mimi”
The family of Janet MarlynBurton Boswell (89) announces with great sorrow her passing on Friday, August 12, 2022. Our beloved “Mimi” drew her finalbreath peacefully in the comfort of her own bed, surrounded by the ones that loved her most. Janet was born on January 15, 1933 in Cuyahoga, OH to Howard and Kathryn Delano Burton of Roanoke, VA. On December 28, 1973 she married her loving soulmate Roderick “Rod” Boswell in Mentor, OH. After her marriage, Janet dabbled into real estate for a few years before retiring to Louisiana to be a homemaker in 1984, where she found her true calling in life. Sadly, she was widowed 4 years ago on April 18, 2018. Despite a huge piece of her being gone, Janet never wavered with her loving and accommodating natureto anyone she met. Those who were privileged to know her, knew unconditional love, and genuine kindness beyond measure. Janet is survived by her three children, Susan “Sue” Liptak Dial, William “Bee” Liptak, and Robert“Bobby” Liptak – Her 9 grandchildren Kristy Pope, KerielDial, Kristopher Liptak, Matthew Liptak, Jessica Partin, Katy Janz, William Liptak, Ryan Liptak, and Gabe Liptak – Her 10 great-grandchildren Ryley Pope, Kamryn Abrams, Jase Abrams, Skyler Liptak, Rylan Liptak, Ella Janz, Adeline Janz, Gage Janz, Ethan Partin, and Keylen Partin. A time of gathering and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1:00, with the burial ceremony beginning at 3:00 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA.
May you find the solace and serenity that you were longing for Mimi. We sure wish we were guests at your “second wedding” with Pop! We all love you very much, and will miss you dearlyuntil we meet again.

Mrs. “B”, was a very special lady, friend, and adopted grandmother to me and my brother and sister. She was apart of our lives for a very long time and we were apart of hers. She never failed to make us lunch when we were at her house, give us all of Kristy’s clothes once she grew out of them and always wished us the best in all of our sports and achievements growing up. Mrs. “B” was and is unforgettable, and from my family to yours, will be greatly missed by all who new and loved her. Thank you Mrs. “B”, for being wonderful, my prayers and love are sent up to you and with your family always.
