Thomas Abel Mendoza

March 3, 1961 ~ August 31, 2022

Thomas Abel “Tommy” Mendoza, age 61, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs, passed away on August 31, 2022, after a brief illness.  Tommy was a good-hearted and hard-working man who never met a stranger, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  He was the beloved son of the late Abel and Rosalie Mendoza, and is survived by his sisters Kathy Mendoza, Patsy and husband Glynn “Pete” DeBate, Barbara and husband Kim Schexnayder, and special friend Chong Howard.  Also survived by nephews and nieces Chris DeBate and wife Kristin, Kyle Schilling, Adam DeBate, Lauren Schexnayder, and great niece Aubrey Torregrossa.

Services will be at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs, on Saturday, September 10^th, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm, with burial at Evergreen Memorial Park immediately after.  Family and friends are welcome to share condolences at .
