April Sikes Fondren born in Houma, Louisiana and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on September 11, 2022 at the age of 52. April enjoyed reading crime novels and listening to her favorite music. She loved animals, especially her pets Ella and Francis. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her Wife; Rebekah “Red” Fondren, her daughter; Samantha Glasper, Mother; Elda Trahan, Step Mother; Melissa Sikes, Brother; Jason Sikes (Summer), Nieces; Hannah Sikes and Olivia Landry, Nephews; Evan Sikes and Graham Landry. She is preceded in death by her father; Larry Sikes, Grandmothers; Pearl Lambert and Marcela Sikes, and Niece; Claire Sikes. Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Saturday September 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until a celebration of life service at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial

I am sorry to learn of April’s passing away. I remember when she was born and what a sweet little girl she was and it’s been a privilege to see what a lovely, caring, and kind woman she has become. My prayers are with her family and friends.
