Wendy Lynn Walker

August 10, 1977 ~ September 24, 2022

Wendy Lynn Walker was born on Wednesday August 10^th,1977 at Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, La to Wanda Kay Sims and Sammy E. Walker. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on September 24^th,2022 at the age of 45. Wendy is the mother of Jacquelyne “Jackie” Walker and Everett M. Walker. She leaves behind her six siblings Dennis, Theresa, Tammy Kay, Tammy Jean, Jennifer, and Ryan. As well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Wendy also leaves behind many extended family and friends. Wendy spent most of Jackie and Everett’s teenage years battling cancer then into to remission she spent the next few years living life to the fullest and taking care of her children. Wendy was diagnosed with cancer yet again this time stage 4 and terminal. It was always hard for her as a single mother who has always battled cancer and has always struggled just to provide for her children.  Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Saturday, October 1, 2022 beginning at 9:00am. Pastor Sandra Cherry will conduct funeral services at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Palmetto Cemetery. She has always been a beautiful free spirit and a wonderful person inside and out. Wendy has always been an outgoing person loved to be around family and friends. She was the life of the party and will be truly missed.
