Jerrie made the move from Pineville to Baton Rouge as a young lady to pursue her career in bookkeeping at Ready Portion Meats.  Jerrie was later employed as an accountant and did payroll at Bancroft Paper Company, Charter Paper Company, Ralph & Kacoo’s and Formosa Plastics.

After retirement, she became an avid napper, who loved her couch and TV as much as her family. Jerrie loved BIG!  She enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, casino runs, playing Pokeno, and special meals with friends.  She loved family traditions and worked diligently to create fond memories especially throughout the holidays.  Everyone was always welcomed, loved, and greeted in her home.  She will be missed tremendously by those who have enjoyed her home especially during the Christmas season.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Joshua Armoney, Joseph Armoney, Hayden Whitam, Greg Joyner, Terry Ginn, and Dereck Morales.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory.
