Jeanette Nesom Klenert

Jeanette Nesom Klenert was born in Dennis Mills, Louisiana on October 22, 1937, to Effie McDaniel Nesom and Dewitt Nesom and passed away surrounded by loved ones at the age of 85 on October 27, 2022. She was an adored parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, sibling, aunt, and friend.  She was selfless in her desire to provide care and comfort to others. 

She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and a faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Cane Market Road Baptist Church.  She was always willing to volunteer and enjoyed serving others and providing opportunities for fellowship. She was known for her giving spirit, her green thumb, her relentless energy, and her classy and stylish presence.

She was preceded in death by her husband William David “Billy” Klenert and ten cherished siblings. She leaves behind her daughters Kelly Klenert McNabb, Jana Klenert Collins (Jerry), and Karla K. Klenert, grandchildren A. Renee Story Boyd (Robbie), Kasey Carlin Golden, Tara Carlin Thompson, Dustin Boyd, Dylan Boyd,  Lauryn Bagley, and Zachary Jackson, and great-grandchildren Alexis Boyd Bergeron (Galen), Conner Golden, Sierra Golden, Preston Golden, Liberty Golden, Kade Bowen, Kole Carlin, Kase Carlin, Hartlen Boyd, and Kimber Boyd, and Oakley Jackson.

A service will be held at 11 AM Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church,  4225 Highway 449, Pine Grove, Louisiana, with visitation beforehand starting at 9 AM.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
