Clarence Templet

December 12, 1933 ~ October 31, 2022

Clarence Joseph “CJ” Templet, 88, went home to live with his Heavenly Father Oct. 31, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Seale Funeral Home, Range Avenue, Denham Springs, with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon and services from noon to 1 p.m. His pastor, Brother Wayne Mack,  will officiate. Burial will follow in Prairieville Community Cemetery, 37473 Duplessis Road, Prairieville. He worked in plumbing maintenance for 30 years at LSU and has volunteered at Livingston Community Center where he assisted in cooking jambalaya dinner, which were sold to help sick people in need of help. He loved working at his church, Cross Truth Ministries. He will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugenie Coupel Templet and Joseph Templet; his first wife, Maeola Braud Templet; his siblings Jean Templet, Therese T. Marretta and Cecile T. Coupel; and his daughter, Angela White. He is survived by wife, Marjorie B. Templet; children, Darlene Denstorff and Rhonda Belgard; stepchildren, Brenda Brister Summers, Kelly Brister and Larry Brister; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank or a charity of choice. Thanks to the nurses and doctors who assisted with his care in his final days.
