Achord, Dorothy Faller

June 6, 1926 – December 3,2022

Dorothy Faller Achord 96 of Springfield, LA passed away peacefully Saturday December 3, 2022 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA. Dorothy was a retired Inspector with the Livingston Parish Government. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will truly be missed by all.

Dorothy is survived by her son Robert Kerr, daughters, Kandyce Whitehead, Kathleen Ann Dale Stogner, and Dan Lydia Lucido, stepdaughters, Vicki Achord Smith (Marvin), and Ellen Fay Thiel (Bill). Numerous grand and great grandchildren, Nieces and is preceded in death by her husband Chester A. Achord Jr. Her parents, Clenny and Myrtis Faller, son John Wimberlin, step sons Chester A. Achord III, and Stephen Dale Achord.

The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 9:00am until 11:am followed by services at 11:00am conducted by Bro. Paul Taylor. Internment will be at Carter Plantation Cemetery in Springfield, LA immediately following the service. Condolences can be expressed on .
