I have missed our talks, just you and me, when everyone else was off doing whatever. The stories you shared with me. The times we just sat and were there for each other. Times you saved me and the times you gave me the privilege of giving back and helping you. I will never forget how strong you were. Life had some unkind moments, but you went through them with quiet grace, dignity and I admired how you made it look to the world, when I know how hard it was. I loved you Mom, you got me through a lot and I was happy to be there for you when you needed me. I cherish every conversation, every triumph we had. Lots of beautiful memories and your legacy will go on through those sacrifices. I choose to remember the great memories, the great family times we shared and my only wish is you would have gotten to know my girls. But we will all be together again one day in paradise and that chance will come. I have learned to be without you for a while now, I treasure our moments and I will be there for your son to help him learn to go on without you in this world. I will do that for you, you know he is your husband’s son and exactly how that is.

Thank you for being there, I love you.
