James Edward Lipscomb, 69, of Springfield, LA died Sunday, December 11, 2022 in Covington, LA. James was born August 13, 1953 in New Orleans, LA to Dick and Gloria Lipscomb. He is a retired mechanic.

James is survived by his son Daniel Lipscomb (Kaela), daughter Danielle Lipscomb Rickards (Nick Sr.). Grandchildren, Ethan J. Lipscomb, Ainsley M. Bankston, Hunter D. Lipscomb, Nick Rickards Jr, and Alli Rickards. Sister, Marie Lipscomb Smith, sister-cuz, Georgette Anderson, brother-cuz, Gene Parsons, niece. Stefanie N. Wright  nephew, Michael N. Ott and numerous cousins.

James is preceded in death by His Parents, and grandson, Evan Lipscomb.
