Jaxen Joseph Ray
April 16, 2004 ~ December 15, 2022
Jaxen Joseph Ray, of Watson, LA entered the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ on December 15, 2022, at the age of 18. Jaxen was born on April 16, 2004, to Jesse and Charlee Ray. He was a 2022 Live Oak High School graduate. Over the course of his life, from t-ball to varsity basketball, he formed many cherished friendships. Sports were a common bond between Jaxen, his parents, and his siblings, Jaelyn and Clayten Ray. They have always been close-knit and each other’s biggest fans on and off the court. Jaxen had a loving and compassionate character that was admired by everyone around him. In the time following high school, he chose to work alongside his father. Jaxen had a passion for photography, art, and graphic design, which he hoped to pursue a career in someday. From the moment he was born, he was known for his soft, caring heart and kind soul. You could feel the love and care he had for you through a simple embrace from him. His hugs were just the best and will be greatly missed!
Jaxen is survived by his loving parents, Jesse and Charlee Ray; his siblings, Jaelyn and Clayten Ray; grandparents, John and Jackie Ray, James Charlie Stanley, and Mike and Robbie Chemin; Godparents, Stacey Terrebone and Jason Ray, among numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by Sandra Lee Ann Bourg.
Visitation will be December 20, 2022, at Healing Place Church in Denham Springs, LA from 9am-12pm with religious services at 12pm. Graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Park to follow. After service gathering will be at Live Oak Baptist Church in Watson, LA.
