Justin Paul Averette passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at the age of 35. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA and raised in Brusly, LA, where he spent most of his life. A graduate of Brusly High School. He was an avid mechanic, hunter, and fisherman.
He is survived by his father Michael E. Averette and stepmother Karen, mother Janice Allen, brothers; Michael B. Averette (Sarah), Ty Welch (Brittney), and Dylan Welch, sisters; Emily Averette, Amy Allen (Paul) and Kristin Allen (Timmy), nephews Kaden and Remy Averette, Hunter Richard, Kohen Daigle, and Walker Meschke, nieces Harper and River Meschke, and Makenzie Allen.
He is preceeded in death by grandparents; Louis G. Witty III. and Mary Lou Witty, Edward Lee Averette, Edmund and Ethel Mae Labouliere, Uncle Rick Labouliere, cousin Ricky Labouliere and best friend Cole Roberts.

Justin you were well loved and you will always have a place in my heart. You have always been a hero but just couldn’t conquer one battle and that was your health. But with that loss you too were a hero organ donor and your loss allowed many others to gain a life to live! It was so hard to see you go and a part of us went with you, our everlasting love!
