Wilson T. Achord (Red)

Wilson T. Achord (Red), 84, of Walker, retired electrician of Local 102, passed Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospice Carpenter House. Above all else He loved his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.  II Timothy 4: 7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”. He was born on November 25, 1938 Walker, La. He is survived by his children Raymond (Lisa) Achord, Thomas “Skeet” (Beth) Achord, Ronnie Bankston, Angie Bankston Whitehead and Duane Bankston, siblings Janis Achord Maxwell and Jimmy Achord, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Zadie and Wilson Achord Sr., his wife Brenda Sibley Achord, his siblings, Margie Achord McCluire, Nina Gail Achord, Stella Achord Sutcliffe, Carl “Sonny” Achord.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday December 28, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at The House of Prayer Holiness Church, 36253 Weiss Rd., Walker, La. 70785.
