“Bo” Vernon Dale Lockhart, Jr.

2/12/1973 – 1/14/2023

REMEMBER ME

Don’t remember me with sadness,

Don’t remember me with tears,

Remember all the laughter,

We’ve shared throughout the years.

Now I am contented

That my life it was worthwhile,

Knowing that I passed along the way

I made somebody smile.

When you are walking down the street

And you’ve got me on your mind,

I’m walking in your footsteps

Only half a step behind.

So please don’t be unhappy

Just because I’m out of sight.

Remember that I’m with you

Each morning, noon, and night.

“Bo” Vernon Dale Lockhart, Jr., 49, passed away on 1/14/2023 at his home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bo grew up in Denham Springs, Louisiana.

You’ll be deeply missed, brother. So many memories we shared. You’re with your mom and dad, and so many other people you loved, who’ve gone before us.
Maybe now, you’re finally at peace. Thank you for the good times, and always being there in the bad times. It just doesn’t seem real, hard to believe you’re gone. Much Love My Brother

What a loss!!! Played music with him many years ago! Worked with him at possibly his first job at Popeyes! I don’t think he had enemies at all! I can’t remember a negative word ever coming out of his mouth! You will be missed sir!

It’s one thing to be such a talented musician but it’s another to master being a lazy hard worker that’s a level completely on its on. I can barely explain it but I’m laughing like Hell cuz Bo was going to wash Mikes truck as repayment but the hose ended up in Mikes hand, I see Bo taking credit but looking at Mike like he honestly could not understand how he still owed Mike. Hahaaaaa!

Bo was a wonderful guy, I remember all the years I went to listen to him and my uncle Raymond gill play! Bo was a very talented musician, I remember going to his mom’s Ms Donna as a child, they were always so kind to me and my family, and was glad to have them as neighbors for many years! May he rest in peace! He will be missed by many!
