Clarence Wayne Stovall, Sr., 71, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his home in Livingston, LA. Clarence was a 1969 graduate of Doyle High School and served his country in the Army National Guard. Clarence had a deep love for hunting and would go any chance he could. Clarence was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Red Oak Baptist Church, Livingston, Friday, January 20, from 5 p.m. until the celebration of his life at 7 p.m. by David Albin. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Brady Stovall; sons, Clarence Stovall Jr. and Edward Stovall and wife, Julie; daughter, Alexis Dedon; grandchildren, Tiffany and Hunter Stovall, Kinsey, Jackson and Maddie Stovall, James and Jadyn Bassett, Armel and Guinevere “Ginny” Dedon; great-grandson, Hunter Stovall Jr.; sisters, Patsy Elberling and Irma “Dee “ Stovall; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lummie Stovall and Bertie Stewart; brothers, Lummie “Gene” Stovall, Floyd Stovall, Thomas Stovall, and David Stewart; sisters, Elva Stewart and Rose Ballard and daughter-in-law, Gena Stovall.
