Linda Jean Stewart Rhodus, left to be with her father and Lord on January 22, 2023, she passed at her home in Walker, La., born July 20, 1953 in Denham Springs, LA. She was the daughter of the late Virgil S. Stewart and Anita R. Stewart. She spent her past times enjoying fishing with her husband and family, she loved cooking, sitting and visiting outdoors, family gatherings and traveling with family. She always just wanted to see her family healthy and happy. She was always trying to be a help where she could, just being thoughtful, caring, and compassionate towards others while living a simple and quite life. She is survived by two sisters, Rose Rhodus and Betty Delatte; and brother, David stewart; her daughter; Angela J. Stewart(fiance Mike) with grandsons Derrick (wife, Ashlynne) and Ricky Stewart II, son; Ernest L. Rhodus Jr with grandson Lonnie Rhodus and (wife, Liz) great granddaughter, Saya, granddaughter Krista Rhodus, great grandson Beaux, grandson Vincent Hagan and (wife, Wendy), great granddaughters, Ava, Nezona, Alaina, Jayden and Delilah. Daughter Nanette McLin and (husband Carey) grandson Trent McLin, (fiancé, Ragen), great grandson Aiden, granddaughter Desirae (husband, Jessie), granddaughter Gabrielle and (fiancé, Zyon) great grandson Zyir, granddaughter, Claira and (fiancé Leyton), great granddaughter, Arya. She was proceeded in death by her husband Ernest L. Rhodus, parents Virgil and Anita Stewart, firstborn, Lonnie Wayne Rhodus, (infant) and half-sister Rosella King. Service and visitation is being held at Satsuma Baptist Church in Livingston, LA. The wake visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 6-9 p.m. with short visitation time and funeral to follow on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9-11 a.m. with Bro. Jeff Mizell officiating. Pallbearers will be; Ernest Rhodus Jr, Carey McLin, Trent McLin, Derrick Stewart, Ricky Stewart and Mike Hobgood. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
