Samuel E. Williams, Sr.
Samuel E. Williams, a native of Tangipahoa, LA, was born on March 16, 1938 and was a resident of Denham Springs, LA, left this earth to be with his heavenly father. He is retired from State of Louisiana, LA DOTD and he served in the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1960. He was an avid Amateur Radio Operator for many years and loved fishing in his spare time until he could no longer fish. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. He leaves behind to cherish his memories son, Samuel E. Williams Jr. and wife Laura W. Williams. A daughter, Kimberly J. Williams. Also, grandson Stephen P. Williams and his wife Rebecca Williams, grandson Nathan Phillips, granddaughter Misty Barrera, a brother James O. Williams Jr. and wife Sarah Williams. He is proceeded in death by his wife Anna Louise Williams, father James O. Williams, and mother Susie Grace Williams, grandson Michael P. Williams. Visitation will be held at Seals Funeral Home in Denham Springs on January 29, 2023 at 5:00pm – 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held at the Tangipahoa Cemetery in Tangipahoa, LA on January 30, 2023 at 10:00am. Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside services, to be conducted by Bro. Matt Calhoun of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs. The family would like to extend their thanks to Maison de Fleur Assisted Living Facility, The Guest House of Baton Rouge, and Life Source Hospice Care, for their great care during his long dementia illness.
