Faye Evelyn Avants

June 6, 1939 – January 29, 2023

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went to here eternal home on Sunday, January 29, 2023. She was 83 years old. She loved flowers and especially spending time with her family and friends. She leaves behind to cherish her memories three sons, Ricky Avants and wife Lisa, Randy Avants, John Avants and wife Linda; daughter, Debbie Montgomery and husband Jimmy; sister, Diane Arnold and husband Douglas; brother, Ray Temple; sister-in-law, Earline Hammet; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 9am until Celebration of Life Service at 11am. Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery, in Baywood LA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Oze Henry Avants, Jr.; two sons, Oze henry Avants III, Virl Ray Avants and two daughters, Zola Kay Avants, Donna Marie Craig; parents, Henry and Myrtle Temple; two brothers, GlennTemple, Wayne Temple; two sisters, Eloise Avants, Louise Sweatledge; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Avants.
