Gloria Dean Allen Wascom

April 18, 1930 – January 27, 2023

Gloria Dean Allen Wascom was born April 18, 1930 in Corbin, LA and departed this life on January 27, 2023 at her residence in walker, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Ray Wascom, her parents Frank and Bessie Allen, and her brothers Donald Allen and Bobby Allen.

She is survived by her son Gary Wascom and wife Tommie; daughter, Pam Wascom Wells and husband, Chuck; grandson, Clint Wells and wife, Kandis; great grandchildren, Casey, Bailey, Ella, Klayton, and Landon.

Dean graduated from Walker High School and then completed her nursing degree at Baton Rouge General School of nursing.

She attended Walker Baptist Church.

The family would like to give special thanks to Pinnacle Hospice for the exceptional care that they provided for their loved one and family. A special heartfelt thanks to Sundi, Crystal, Monique, Shelly, Leona, and the wonderful care and loved received from Gail, a private caregiver.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, February 1, from 11:00 am until service at 1:00 pm., officiated by Dr. Jason McNaughten. Committal Service will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
