Wilma Jean Louis (Jeannie) 65 of Baton Rouge, La died Saturday morning Jan. 14, 2023, at Baton Rouge General Hospital.

Life Summary

Born August 6, 1957, in Baton Rouge, La to Father Eugene Simpson and Mother Dorothy Jones. Wilma a graduate of LBI Bible College Houston, Tx was a strong woman who dealt with everything life threw at her in her own way with no complaints. A mother of six former first lady of Someone Cares Ministry she was also the life of the party Hollywood Casino and gambling was her favorite pastime. She could be stubborn as a mule at times which we later found was her strength and fight to be here. She had a lot of health challenges, but she survived breast cancer not once but twice she was built tough like a ford truck. She had the ability to speak her mind raw and uncut which is a rare trait. She didn’t try to fit in she craved her own lane. She equips us with strength, courage, and the will to make it to another day. Though you are not physically here you live among your six and we’ll carry that same fire and will you had to the end we will always love you! No more suffering your fight is over.
