Shirley M. Haire Rainwater

Shirley M. Haire Rainwater, 84, of Pride, LA, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at her home. Born October 4th 1938 in Pleasant Hill, LA. To the late Kermit and Opal Haire. Shirley was a pre-school teacher for many years and experienced much joy working with children. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Tommy Ray Rainwater and a daughter Rhonda Leigh Rainwater. Survived by daughter Robin Rainwater Wells (James), son Allen Rainwater (Shanna), daughter Jodi Rainwater Kaiser (Chris). Shirley had a deep love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandchildren: Ashley Wells (Brooke), Brookes Wilson, Janie Wells Kelly (Donald), Justin Wells (Samantha), Taylor Rainwater, Mikayla Rainwater. Great-Grandchildren: Aiden Kelly, Rainey Kelly, Jaxson Wells, McKenzie Wells.

Visitation will be held a Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, LA, Wednesday, February 15, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. with Rev. George Scruggs, Jr. officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Tommy, in Evergreen Memorial Park. Please share your condolences at .
