I’m so saddened to hear this news. Sending love to Mrs. Staci and Desirae. I have such fond memories at your house, of growing up, and spending time together as young kids! ❤️ -Jill (Foster) Maynard

Darius was an endearing soul. He had a neverending energy and positivity . His words were always positive and uplifting. His love for the Lord and friends and family was great. He lifted many spirits and his kindness, gentleness and huge smile will always be remembered. His struggles are over. Again my condolences to his family . . He will be greatly missed by all. But he’s in a better place and at peace. God bless 😇

Darius was truly a special guy and I don’t know anyone that knew him that didn’t have great things to say about their time with him. I encouraged him to share his faith and we even discussed creating and publishing uplifting videos on the web. I regret that life got in the way and we didn’t get to make that happen, but his life and his positive energy made a lasting impact on me and he will be missed.

I woke up this morning with a thought of Darius for some odd reason. My default setting is that of a reserved person, but Darius wasn’t like that at all. He was him 100% every moment I knew him. He shared his love of people and God openly.

I guess we could all learn from his example. I wish I could tell him what I did last Sunday. He had no reservations. You will never be forgotten, my brother.

Darius had a big heart. To know him was to love him. Despite his struggles I never saw him without a huge smile on his face. I’ll always remember him that way. Darius had a special place in my heart. He was a good man and I’m glad I knew him. My condolences to Aunt Stacey and the family. RIP my brother.

1 minister at Woodlake and got to know Darius there. he lit up the room everytime he walked in. he will be dearly missed and i pray that the family will lean on the Lord during this time. Shawn called me this morning and my heart is truly broken. didn’t know him long, but he became a close friend in a short amount of time.

Baby boy, I have no words to relay how sorry I am for what happened. We said we would both be there for each other. Obviously I did not hold my end of that bargain. I can’t expressed to your mom and sister how sorry I am I wish I would’ve been there for you, when you needed me most.
    Love you baby boy !!!!
    I will see you soon…
