Steven “Steve” Jenkins

July 22, 1964  – February 18, 2023

Steven “Steve” Robert Jenkins, at age 58, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, General Manager of Piccadilly for 43 years, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 18^th, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was surrounded by lots of family and love. He is survived by his parents Bob & Elke Worthy, Wife, Suzanne Jenkins, Children, Ashley Jenkins Phillips & Kristin Jenkins Duron, Son-in-laws Dan Phillips and Mike Duron, Brother & Sister, Bobby Worthy & Patty Woodward, Sister & Brother In-laws, Tonya Worthy & Randy Woodward, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Nieces and 6 Nephews.

Steve was a friend to all and a kind and amazing man. He was a dedicated husband, loving father, cherished son and beloved brother, known as Papa to his grandkids and Uncle Steve to his nieces and nephews. In his 43 years of employment with Piccadilly he made lasting friendships and impacted the lives of many.

Steve loved adventure and had a quick sarcastic wit. He strived to have a fun and enjoyable workplace and was loved by many. We hope that all who knew and loved him will come and help us celebrate him at his Celebration of Life Service

His Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 25^th, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at The Rivers Ranch, 1959 Highway 42 North, Jackson, GA 30233. Casual wear is encouraged. He never enjoyed dressing up for events, so let’s honor him and be comfortable.

In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a fund to help cover the cost incurred at the hospital. Any amount is truly appreciated.

Steve was so loved and will be so deeply missed!
