Rosa Maria Rico

December 27, 1965 – March 1, 2023

This is a celebration of Rosa Rico.  She was born December 27, 1965, in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Unfortunately we weren’t ready, though she went to a better place March 1, 2023, at The Guest House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Rosa was 57 when she went to join some of her family and friends.  She was known for her courageousness, creativity, her willing to learn, her out look on reality and most of all her big heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Nesa Rico, fiance’ Kevin Francis, sister Brandy Babin, husband Joe, and their 3 kids, brother Sergio, his wife Brittany, and their two kids.  She also had 2 other nephews, 3 great nephews, and 3 aunts.  She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Elizabeth Swilley, her father Jorge Rico, Sr. and Mr. Jorge Rico, Jr., Uncle Oscar Rico, and Uncle Julio Rico, Sister Blanche Rico.
