Donna Sue Crawford Hudson

August 27, 1943 ~ March 15, 2023

Donna Hudson, of Denham Springs, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the age of 79 in the Butterfly Wing unit at Baton Rouge General.

Donna C Hudson was born to Mary Ruth Crawford and Charles Ross on August 27, 1943 in Cleveland, Mississippi. Donna is preceded in death by her two brothers, Wayne Roper and Louis Crawford, as well as her beloved husband, Thomas W Hudson of 52 years of marriage. She was loved by family and many friends.  Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping QVC, watching her favorite Hallmark movies, and listening to her favorite musical artists, Michael Bublé and Adele. But what she enjoyed most was playing a good joke on someone!

Donna is survived by her two children, Michelle (Tommy) Byers and Tim (Chetta) Hudson; 7 grandchildren, Haley (Jacob Zumo) Hudson, Blair Byers, Mary Grace Byers, Hudson Byers, Kendall Hudson, Lauren Brown, and Londyn Brown; one great-granddaughter, Lola Rose Zumo; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to Louise Wills, Harvest Manor team of nurses, doctors, and therapists, as well as the nurses and doctors of the Butterfly Wing. A memorial service (TBA) will be held at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where she will be laid to rest with her forever love, Tom Hudson. The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Butterfly Wing unit in memory of Donna C Hudson.
