June 18, 1950 ~ March 19, 2023
Charlotte Lynne Granier, 72, of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 18, 1950 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Alice Pauline and Elzie McKinley Gardner. She married Michael Adrian Granier, on August 22, 1970, whom she loved and adored until his passing in 2014. She retired from Walmart in 2017 after 25+ years and spent her retirement relaxing and doing exactly what she wanted to do. While impossible to sum up a life in so few words the one word that is most fitting is loving. The memories she created and shared with her family and friends will always be the best representation of who she was and how she loved. She is survived by son, Alex Granier and wife Regan; god-daughter, Natasha Denny, husband Brent and daughter Abigail; brother, Dennis Gardner; and sister, Terri Ober. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Granier; parents, Alice Pauline Shipp and Elzie McKinley Gardner; brothers, Elzie McKinley Gardner Jr., James Terrell Gardner, Donald Zay Gardner and Kenneth Ladell Gardner; sisters, Polly Gardner, Patsy Endora Starns, and Loretta Ann Fuller. A memorial visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
