Gary Albert Pique’, 88, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at his home in Denham Springs, where his devoted daughter, Brandi, and her husband, his beloved son-in-law, Eric, tended to his needs daily. Gary attended Istrouma High School then began his career as an electrician while serving in the Navy, Air Force and National Guard before eventually retiring from Georgia Pacific as an electrician in 2006. Gary’s hobbies included listening to country music, going to the Waffle House, woodworking, dancing and eating seafood. He was affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist faith and was an avid supporter of Inspiration Ministries along with many others. Gary is survived by four daughters, Brandi (Eric) Hudson, Judy (Mike) Goutreaux, Susan Ratcliff and Michelle Martinsen; two sons, Darius (Missy) Pique’ and Shaun (Karin) Pique’; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Ann “Dodie” Pique’, daughter, Crystal Pique’, mother and father, Vera and Joseph Pique’; brother, Joseph Pique’ Jr.; and two sisters, Sandra (Pique’) Loehr and Tanalyn (Pique’) Milton. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 9am followed by funeral services at 11am and burial in Evergreen Memorial Park.
