Mary Susan “Sue” Dees

December 23, 1945 – March 25, 2023

Mary Susan “Sue” Dees passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023at the age of 77. She passed away in her home in Denham Springs, Louisiana after a long battle with ALS. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mitchell B. “Mike” Dees; her son, Mitch Dees (Mary); her daughter, Amy Hawkins (Don); seven grandchildren, Bridget, Colby, Austin, Hailey, Dominic, Jace, Hamilton; four great Grandchildren, Noah, Brayden, Isaac, Easton; and her siblings, James David Bradshaw, Judi Ambrosoli-Holt (Jim) and James Ambrosoli (Mary). She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gertrude Bradshaw and sister, Jane Ambrosoli Sipes. She was a loving wife and proud mother and grandmother. Her children were the absolute joy of her life. This world will certainly be duller without her beautiful smile. Her family is asking that in Lieu of flowers, donations be made to Team Gleason Foundation, 2021 Lakeshore Dr. Suite 120, New Orleans , LA 70122. The family wishes to thank her personal care team and her team at Audubon Hospice for their love kindness, compassion and support. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
