Lloyd Joseph Greene

January 19, 1973 ~ April 4, 2023

Lloyd Joseph Greene “Coach” “Uncle Lloyd” “Bro Man” sadly and suddenly passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the age of 50. He was a native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Walker, LA.

Along with being a die-hard Saints and Tigers fan, Lloyd was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard for over a decade. He loved serving the country that gave him such a wealth of family and friends. He was the most genuine, kindhearted soul anyone could encounter. It didn’t matter if he had much or little, if you needed anything, he gave it freely. It was a quality that was both a blessing and a curse, but it’s just how and who Lloyd was. He was a great brother, and a WONDERFUL father. Lloyd never met a stranger and will truly be missed by anyone that had the privilege to call him a friend.

Lloyd is survived by his Son,  Gavin Michael Greene, who was his heart and his world; sister, Kimberley Phillips and husband, Wayne; brother, Dale Sciortino; Nephews and Nieces- Leighton Greene, Gabrielle Phillips, Chase Phillips and fiancé, Leah Kinnebrew; Aunts, Linda Alleman, Lucille Cauthron, and Ann Alleman; Cousins, Heather Landry, Wayne Cauthron, Mandy Alleman, Melissa Alleman, Crystal and Neil Moreau, Terry Black, Nancy Alleman, James Alleman Jr, Scott Alleman; special “Pact” of friends, Jennifer “P-nut” Marix-Fisher, Troy “Handbook” Marcotte, Billy “Mr. Bill” Simms, Brian “MC” Rigsby, Brad “Stub” Rigsby, Brian “Unfried” Unfried and Les Rosso, Jr.; and a NUMEROUS amount of other family members and friends.
