William “Bill” Lane, 80, of Watson, Lousiana, passed away on April 15, 2023. He was born June 20, 1942 in Kentwood, Louisiana. He enlisted in the Marine Corp after graduation from Spring Creek High School in 1960. He retired from Dow Chemical and The City of Port Allen. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Evelyn Lane, sister Janet “Boots” Reiger, brother Jeff “Buddy” Lane and in-laws Joe and Pauline Schittone. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Debby Schittone Lane; his children Chad Lane (Donna), Candace and Kyle Lane (Crystal); four grandchildren,
Taylor Louviere (Tyler), Chase Lane, Kyleigh Lane and Kade Lane, three great-grandchildren, Haidyn, Brooks and Jett Louviere; brothers Robert “Bobby” Lane (Brenda) and Benny Lane (Sue), sister-in-law Beatriz Lane Tuscon, AZ and brother-in-law Joe “Joey” Schittone, Manhatten, NY.
Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, La., Sunday April 23, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. service at 3:00 p.m.

Uncle Billy was so sweet. I always enjoyed his visits when he & his family would come to see us in Florida. His favorite restaurant in St, Augustine was Barnacle Bills Seafood. He liked it so much they would all eat there every night for dinner!
I was so sorry to hear of his illness. My heart goes out to the family who I love very much. You all are in our thoughts & prayers. Love to you all.
