John Irvin Wright

John Irvin Wright, of Paradis, Louisiana and current resident of Walker, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2023.
Services with be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 2pm until Celebration of Life Service at 4pm.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Bessie Ordone Wright; his father Glendon Jimmie Wright; and his mother-in-law, Ann Marie Shipley. John is survived by his loving wife, Helene Brown-Wright; children Jessie Ann Holmes (Colton), Ian Irvin Wright (Michael), Joseph Ambrose Brown; Grandson, Colin Andrew Holmes; sisters, Ann Marie McNeill (Gerald); Bethny Sue Downey (Rodney); and father-in-law George Shipley as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. John was a skilled woodworker and lover of the water where he built his career as a crane operator and First Mate holding a Captain’s License.
