I know this message is late in coming as today is December 18,2024. Me and my family only found out yesterday at a funeral that Don had passed away. Oh how it hurt our hearts to hear this. Don was a very good friend of our family when he lived in Gonzales and worked for Welch’s Funeral Home. He was actually a Pallbearer for our Mother. We are so saddened to hear of his passing and want the family to know how much we know that he is missed. Our condolences are with you all. The Gautreau, The Cruze, & The Guillory Families

He is loved by so many. He loved horses his whole life! He was always willing to help you with your horse and he taught me so much. I will never meet another like him. He was a fine human being and a true friend. May God rest his soul.
