August 21, 1983 ~ May 18, 2023
Blayne Justin Seguin completed his journey here at the age of 39, on May 18th, 2023 after his courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was the only child and was born on August 21, 1983 in Baton Rouge, LA, and a resident of Denham Springs, LA. Blayne was an amazing father, loving husband, son, nephew, and friend. He will be remembered for his witty jokes, radiant laugh and handsome smile. He never met a stranger, mainly because so many already knew how amazing he was; he loved spending time and traveling with his wife and two kids, cooking delicious meals, trail riding, camping, fishing every chance he had, and jamming to music while drinking a beer with his friends, but usually only until about 10pm. Blayne was not much for large crowds, being in front of a camera or center of attention, but if he let you into his world, you would understand why so many wanted to be called his friend. Blayne was a jack of all trades but for the last 20 years being a mechanic was his expertise. He learned a lot during his time at Mike’s Transmission then started his own business, AutoAir Express in 2017. He loved being independent, cutting workdays short for his extra-long lunches with friends and picking up his kids from school to get snowballs. Blayne will continue to watch over his two beautiful children, Brylee Jessa Seguin and Beau James Seguin; his beloved wife Jade Cazes Seguin; his mother Billie Jo Seguin; his grandfather Billie Seguin and his wife Rose; his grandfather Mike Blanton; his nanny Sheila Devereaux; other aunts and uncles, cousins and assorted family and many caring friends. Blayne was preceded in death by his great uncle Phil Devereaux and his grandmother Diane Witt Blanton. Blayne is no longer in pain and has been made whole again for eternity.
Memorial will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Range in Denham Springs on Saturday, May 27th, visitation will be 9am to 11am and service starts 11am.
